Quick trip to Texas to visit Sarkantu’s sister, Trap Daisy, and the nieces and nephews. Her husband had died not long before, and we came to support her and help her with some things. We drove down in the van, with Lumi, leaving Minnesota around 4 or 5 AM on 7 October and reaching Trap Daisy’s house in Cedar Creek, just outside Bastrop, late that day. Sarkantu says we stayed four or five days, so we think we left on the 11th or 12th.

What I packed
Clothes, and probably the laptop
I just brought clothes. I think I also brought my M1 MacBook Pro, since I was still in school and doing classes.
